Removal and Installation of Washer Fluid Reservoir with Pump

GENERAL The reservoir is located in the engine compartment, front right. It supplies washer fluid for the windshield, rear window and headlight washers.

REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. Unscrew the mounting bolts -1- and remove the coolant expansion tank (A) (10 mm wrench). Lift it up and out.

2. Unscrew the 2 Phillips screws -2- and remove the charcoal canister (petrol engine) (B) or the fuel filter (diesel engine). Lift it up. C - Washer fluid reservoir.

3. Unscrew the 2 nuts (arrows in illustration).

4. Lift the washer fluid reservoir (A) up and out of the engine compartment.

5. Disconnect the electrical connectors at the washer fluid pump.

6. Drain the fluid from the reservoir and remove the pump from the side of the reservoir. INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
