On sedan models, the antenna is integrated into the rear window defroster grid on the rear window. On hatchback and wagon models, the antenna is located on the windshield. Take care not to scratch the inner surfaces of the rear window and windshield or damage the lines on the glass. Damage to the inner surface may cause radio reception interference.

Because the antenna is integrated into the rear or windshield glass, the risk of damage in an automatic car wash is reduced.

Using a blade or sharp objects to clean the inner surface of the rear or windshield may damage the antenna and/or rear window defroster. Such damage is not covered by the warranty.

Do not clean the inside surface of the rear window with sharp objects.

Do not use metallized window tint film.

Metallized film in some window tinting materials interferes with radio reception. The warranty does not cover any damage to the antenna and/or rear window defogger caused by the use of window tint film.
