AUXILIARY POWER OUTLET
The power outlets are designed to power various electrical devices, such as a cellular phone, electric shaver, etc.
The auxiliary power outlet is located on the center console below the front ashtray. Another auxiliary power outlet is located on the left side of the luggage compartment (wagon models only).
To use the outlet, open the cover.
Keep the cover closed when the outlet is not in use. The auxiliary power outlet can be used when the ignition key is in the ACC or ON position.
The battery may discharge.
• Turn off the electrical device when it is not used for a long time.
This prevents battery discharge and possible battery damage.
The maximum permissible load for the power outlet of your vehicle is 12 V – 10 A. If an electrical device with a load above 12 V – 10 A is connected, power is automatically cut off. Use only devices whose specifications are within the stated load limit.
If a fuse blows, replace it only with a fuse of the same rating approved by the manufacturer. Always turn off any electrical equipment that is not in use. Operating electrical equipment for a long period of time may discharge the battery. Connecting additional electrical equipment may damage other vehicle systems or cause them to malfunction.
Repair is not covered for damage resulting from such malfunctions. Before connecting additional electrical equipment, consult an authorized Chevrolet dealer. Do not use equipment with an operating current exceeding the specified value.
