Rear Window and Outside Mirror Heater Button

REAR WINDOW AND OUTSIDE MIRROR HEATER BUTTON
Do not operate the rear window heater in the following cases:
• The engine is not running.
• Immediately after starting the engine.
• If there is snow or ice on the rear window.
Using the rear window heater under these conditions may discharge the battery.
This may in turn cause damage to the vehicle and require replacement of some components.
To activate the heater, switch the ignition on and press the rear window and outside mirror heater button. The indicator light on the button will illuminate.
The heater switches off automatically after approximately 10 minutes.
To switch off the rear window defogger, press this button again.
Make sure the rear window defogger is switched off when the surfaces are clean.
Failure to follow proper care procedures may damage the defogger grid lines or scratch the glass.
• Do not use sharp tools or abrasive glass cleaners to clean the rear window.
• Use care when cleaning the glass or working near the rear window to avoid scratching or damaging the defogger grid lines. Repairs to defogger grid lines damaged by external causes are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Lack of proper rear visibility may lead to a collision, resulting in injury, damage to your vehicle, or other property damage.
