AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT

The airbag system warning light flashes several times when the ignition is switched on. This indicates that the warning light and the airbag system are in normal working condition.

The airbag system warning light stays on steadily when a malfunction occurs in the system.

• Do not operate the vehicle if the airbag warning light is on.

Have the system checked by an authorized Chevrolet dealer at the first opportunity.

Driving with a malfunctioning airbag system may result in injury or death in the event of an accident.

If there is a malfunction in the airbag system, the warning light:

• Does not flash when the ignition is switched on.
• Continues to stay on after several flashes.
• Flashes while the vehicle is being driven.
• Stays on steadily while driving.
