The tachometer shows the engine crankshaft rotational speed in revolutions per minute (rpm).

Do not raise engine speed so that the tachometer needle enters the red zone.

Excessive engine speed may cause engine damage.

• Do not allow the engine to run at excessively high speed, at which the tachometer needle enters the red zone.

Otherwise, costly repairs may be required that are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
