Windshield wipers
• Poor visibility for the driver may lead to a collision, resulting in injury, damage to your vehicle or other property damage.
• Do not operate the wipers if the glass is dry or if wiper operation is impaired, for example by snow or ice on the windshield. Operating the wipers with obstructions on the windshield may damage the wiper blades, the wiper motor and the glass surface.
• In cold weather, before turning on the wipers, make sure the blades are not frozen to the glass. Operating the wipers with blades frozen to the glass may damage the blades, the wiper motor and the glass surface. Such damage is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

To turn on the wipers, turn on the ignition and move the wiper/washer lever up.
The windshield wiper lever has four positions:
• OFF: System off. Standard position.
• INT: Intermittent mode (to select the desired speed, move the lever up or down). Lever one position up.
• LO: Continuous mode, low speed. Lever two positions up.
• HI: Continuous mode, high speed. Lever three positions up.
As the wiper blades wear, they lose their ability to clean the glass properly and forward visibility deteriorates.
• Replace worn wiper blades.
Single wipe To operate the wipers in light rain or fog, move the wiper/washer lever slightly toward the INT position and release it.
When released, the lever automatically returns to the neutral position.
In this case, the wiper blades perform one cycle.
