To prevent the vehicle from being unlocked by another transmitter, each remote transmitter has an individual electronic code.

If a remote transmitter is lost or stolen, you can purchase a new transmitter from an authorized Chevrolet dealer.

To purchase a new or additional transmitter, present the remaining transmitter to an authorized Chevrolet dealer. After the authorized Chevrolet dealer codes the new transmitter for your vehicle, the remaining remote transmitter must also be recoded accordingly.

After the new transmitter is electronically coded, the vehicle cannot be unlocked with the lost transmitter.

Up to 4 transmitters can be coded to one vehicle at the same time.
