TRUNK LID (SEDAN)

To unlock the trunk lid, insert the key into the lock and turn it clockwise. Lift the trunk lid.

To close, lower and slam the trunk lid shut. The lid locks automatically.

Use caution when closing the trunk lid and make sure your hands and other body parts are clear of the lid's path.

When opening or closing the door, make sure nothing is obstructing the door's movement.

Driving with the trunk lid open may allow exhaust gases to enter the passenger compartment.

• Do not drive with the trunk lid open. If driving with the trunk open is unavoidable, close the windows, set the ventilation to "FRESH AIR MODE", and set the blower to maximum speed. (Refer to "VENTILATION".) Exhaust gases are toxic and can cause poisoning or death.
