The barrel of the cigarette lighter becomes very hot when it is on.

• Do not touch the barrel of the cigarette lighter when it is on, and do not allow children to operate the cigarette lighter.

Hot metal may cause burns, damage to your vehicle, or other property damage.

To use the cigarette lighter, do the following:

• Turn the ignition key to the ACC or ON position.
• Push the cigarette lighter all the way in.

When it reaches the required temperature, the cigarette lighter automatically pops back out.

Overheating the cigarette lighter may damage the heating element and the lighter itself.

• Do not hold the cigarette lighter in while it is heating.

This may cause the cigarette lighter to overheat.

Operating a faulty cigarette lighter is dangerous.

• If the cigarette lighter does not pop out within 30 seconds, remove it and have it repaired by an authorized Chevrolet dealer.

A faulty cigarette lighter may cause injury or damage to the vehicle.
