Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

  2. Remove the mirror (A) in the direction shown in the illustration, using a (-) screwdriver.

  3. Disconnect the heater connector (B) and the BCW indicator connector (A) from the mirror.

  4. Remove the BCW indicator (A) from the mirror.

Installation

  1. Install the BCW indicator.

  2. Connect the heater connectors and the BCW indicator connector.

  3. Install the mirror.

  4. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Inspection

  1. Remove the outside rearview mirror.

    (Refer to Body - "Outside Rear View Mirror")

  2. Make sure the mirror operates correctly, as shown in the table below.
