Removal and installation

PROCEDURE
1. Apply the parking brake, raise the vehicle and support it securely on safety stands.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable, and also disconnect any wiring that may interfere with bumper removal.
3. Remove the bumper cover (if equipped), taking care not to damage the cover or bumper.
4. Remove the bumper mounting bolts from under the vehicle.
5. Remove the bumper from the vehicle.
6. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
