Upholstery and Floor Mats

~1min read

Every three months, remove the floor mats and clean the vehicle interior (more often if necessary). Use a vacuum cleaner to clean the upholstery and floor mats to remove remaining dirt and dust.

Leather upholstery requires special care. Remove stains with warm water and a very mild soap solution. Use a clean cloth to remove the soap, then wipe the upholstery again with a dry cloth. Never use alcohol, gasoline, lacquer thinner or paint thinner to clean leather upholstery.

After cleaning, regularly treat leather upholstery with a special leather conditioner. Never use automotive polish wax on leather upholstery.

Where the vehicle interior is exposed to direct sunlight, cover leather seats with sheets if the vehicle will be left in the sun for any length of time.
