Every 5000 km, or every three months, apply a few drops of light engine oil or lock lubricant to the hinges and latches of the doors, hood, and trunk.

Apply a thin coat of multipurpose grease to the door latch mechanisms to reduce wear and ensure smooth movement. Lubricate door and hood locks with graphite grease.
