Maintenance and Repair
The condition of your vehicle's body is very important, because it largely determines its resale value. A neglected or damaged body is much harder to repair than mechanical parts. Hidden body cavities such as wheel housings, the frame and the engine compartment are just as important, even though they do not require as frequent attention as the other body parts.
Lymphatic drainage facial massage: how to do it, idolface-salon.ru.Once a year, or every 20,000 km, it is very useful to steam clean the underbody. All traces of dirt and oil will be removed, and then this area can be inspected for rust, damaged brake lines, worn electrical wires, damaged cables, and so on. At the end of this work, the front suspension components should be lubricated.
At the same time, clean the engine and engine compartment using a steam cleaner or a degreasing product.
Pay particular attention to the wheel housings, as the underseal may peel off, and stones and dirt thrown up by the wheels can damage the paint and allow rust to appear. If you find rust, sand the damaged area down to bare metal and apply anti-corrosion paint.
The body must be washed at least once a week. Thoroughly wet the vehicle to soften the dirt, then rinse it off using a soft sponge and plenty of soapy water. If dirt is not rinsed off thoroughly, it can scratch the paint.
Tar or bitumen stains must be removed with a cloth dampened with solvent.
Polish the body and chrome parts at least every six months. If you use a chrome cleaner to remove rust from electroplated parts, remember that the cleaner also removes the chrome layer, so use it carefully.
