Replacing Incandescent Bulbs

It is recommended to carry spare bulbs in the vehicle. A bulb kit is available for purchase. The list of bulbs is given in the Specifications.

Switch off the corresponding bulb switch.

Headlights

* Halogen high beam, low beam and fog light bulbs are under pressure. Wear goggles to protect your eyes and gloves to protect your hands. Otherwise, if the bulb is damaged, there is a risk of injury.

PROCEDURE

1. Open the hood.
2. Turn the low beam bulb holder (1) fully to the left and remove it.

3. Remove the bulb and replace it.
4. Install the low beam bulb holder and turn it fully to the right.
5. Turn the high beam bulb holder (2) fully to the left and remove it.
6. Disconnect the plug connector.
7. Install the new bulb holder with bulb onto the connector and secure it.
8. Install the high beam bulb holder and turn it fully to the right.

Parking Light

PROCEDURE

1. Turn the parking light bulb holder (3) fully to the left and remove it.

2. Remove the bulb and replace it.

3. Insert the bulb holder into the housing with the large tab facing up and turn it to the right.

Front Turn Signal

PROCEDURE

1. Squeeze the bulb holder by its tabs and pull it out to the rear.
2. Gently press the bulb into the holder, turn it to the left and remove it.
3. Insert the new bulb, press it into the holder, turn it to the right and secure it.
4. Press the bulb holder in and secure it.

Side Turn Signal Repeater

PROCEDURE

1. Press the bulb forward with your fingers at the rear edge and remove it.
2. Turn the bulb to the left, applying slight pressure, and remove it.
3. Lightly press the new bulb, turn it to the right and secure it.

Fog Light

* Halogen high beam, low beam and fog light bulbs are under pressure. Wear goggles to protect your eyes and gloves to protect your hands. Otherwise, if the bulb is damaged, there is a risk of injury.

PROCEDURE

1. Remove the grille clip. To do this, remove the pin (2), then the clip (1).

2. Disconnect the grille at the top and remove it.
3. Pull the cover next to the fog light forward and remove it.
4. Remove the 2 mounting bolts and move the fog light aside.

5. Press the spring (1) from the rear side in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration.

6. Pry the cover (2) off on one side and disconnect it on the other.
7. Disconnect the spring clip (1) from the holder (2).

8. Remove the contact covers and replace the bulb.
9. Secure the new bulb with the clip.
10. Check the condition of the gasket (3) in the cover and replace it if necessary.
11. Install the cover, press it in and secure it with the spring clip.
12. Install the fog light and secure it with the screws.
13. Secure the grille, press in the clip and lock it with the release pins.

Tail Light

PROCEDURE

1. Open the luggage compartment lid.
2. Remove the side trim panel.
3. Turn the clip (1) 90° to the left and remove the bulb holder (2).

4. Gently press the bulb into the holder, turn it to the left and remove it.
5. Insert the new bulb, press it slightly into the holder, turn it to the left and secure it.

6. Install the bulb holder and turn the clip.

Center High-Mounted Stop Lamp

PROCEDURE

1. Open the luggage compartment lid.
2. Using a screwdriver, remove the black plastic cover from the underside of the parcel shelf.
3. Turn the bulb holder to the left and remove it.
4. Insert a new bulb, pressing it slightly into the holder, turn it to the right and secure.
5. Install the bulb holder and secure it by turning it to the right.
6. Install the plastic cover on the underside of the parcel shelf.

License Plate Lamp

Bulb rating: 5 W

REPLACEMENT

1. Insert a screwdriver into the slot and press to the right, as shown by the arrow; the lamp will release from its mount.

2. Remove the lamp and replace the bulb

Lamps

Front Lamp

Main lamp (10 W), courtesy lamps (10 W)

PROCEDURE

1. Main lamp. Pry the lens out from the side with a screwdriver and remove the lens, then remove the bulb from the contact holders.
2. Courtesy lamp. Remove the bulb by pressing it lightly and turning it to the left.

Rear Lamp

Main lamp (10 W), courtesy lamp (5 W)

PROCEDURE

1. Pry the lamp lens out with a screwdriver inserted into the recesses on top.
2. Main lamp. Release the tab on the reflector and replace the bulb.
3. Courtesy lamp. Remove the bulb by pressing it lightly and turning it to the left.

Footwell Lamps

Bulb rating: 5 W

PROCEDURE

1. Remove the lamp lens by prying it from the side with a screwdriver.
2. Replace the bulb.

Glove Box Lamp

Bulb rating: 5 W

PROCEDURE

1. Pry the lamp out using a screwdriver inserted into the recess.
2. Remove the reflector.
3. Replace the bulb.

Luggage Compartment Lamps

Lamp under the parcel shelf behind the rear seats: 10 W, halogen
Lamp in the luggage compartment lid: 10 W

PROCEDURE

1. Pry the lamp out using a screwdriver inserted into the recess.
2. Remove the reflector.
3. Replace the bulb.

PROCEDURE
