Required wear parts:

  • Air filter element.

Removal
Luftfiltereinsatz wechseln

  • Remove the 4 screws from the upper air filter housing with a Phillips screwdriver. The threaded bushings are marked with arrows in the illustration.

Note:

On the 1.4 L engine, the air filter is located on the right front fender; on other models, it is on the left front fender.

  • Lift the air filter cover and remove filter element - 1 -.

  • Wipe out the filter housing with a cloth.

  • If contamination is light, carefully tap out the filter element with the dirty side facing down.

Warning: Do not clean the filter element with petrol and do not contaminate it with oil. Do not blow out the filter element with compressed air. Installation

  • Insert the new filter element into the air filter housing.

  • Fit the upper air filter housing and screw in the screws.
