Tool kit and jack

The tool kit, jack and towing device* are located in the spare wheel recess under the luggage compartment floor.

The floor can be lifted by means of the loop and hung on the underside of the luggage compartment cover.

The tool kit includes the following tools:

– wheel wrench, – screwdriver with interchangeable bit, – 10 x 13 mm wrench, – safety pin for wheel changing, – plastic clip for removing wheel bolt caps*, – wire hook for removing full-size wheel covers, – crank handle for emergency closing of the sliding roof panel*.

Before stowing the jack, return the lifting arm to its original lowered position.

CAUTION

The jack supplied is intended only for changing wheels on your model. Never use it to lift heavier vehicles or other loads!

To avoid an accident, never start the engine while the vehicle is raised on a jack!

When working under the vehicle, make sure it is securely supported on suitable supports.

The hex recess in the screwdriver handle makes it easier to loosen and tighten wheel bolts when changing wheels, especially on alloy wheels. Never use this plastic tool to loosen or tighten wheel bolts.
