REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the windshield washer connector.
2. Disconnect the washer hose from the nozzles.
3. Mark the position of the compensator at the hinges with a felt-tip pen (arrow in the accompanying illustration).

4. Place a support under the hood or ask an assistant to hold it.
5. Disconnect the ground cable at the right hinge.
6. Remove the hood with the help of an assistant.

INSTALLATION

1. Install the hood with the help of an assistant. Screw in the mounting bolts without fully tightening them.
2. Align the hood according to the marks and secure it with bolts.
3. If a new hood is being installed, adjust its position.
