Mirror Glass Removal and Installation

* Before removing the mirror, warm up the vehicle to room temperature (approximately +20°C). At lower temperatures, the clips may break.

REMOVAL

1. Fold the mirror upward.

Standard mirror
2. Apply protective tape to the edge of the mirror and the edge of the mirror housing to prevent damage.
3. Remove the mirror from the bottom using a wooden wedge. It can also be pulled out from the bottom with fingers.

Auto-dimming mirror
4. Using a small screwdriver, move the support (arrow in the accompanying illustration) to the right. This allows the bayonet lock to open, and carefully remove the mirror.
5. Disconnect the mirror heater and auto-dimming connector.

6. Remove the mirror.

INSTALLATION

1. Connect the mirror heater and auto-dimming connector.
2. Position the mirror so that the clips are under the tabs.

Standard mirror
3. Press the mirror directly below the clips and secure it. Place a cloth under it to avoid leaving fingerprints on the mirror.

Auto-dimming mirror
4. Press the mirror. Place a cloth under it to avoid fingerprints. Move the support to the left with a small screwdriver so that it is vertical.
5. Check the mirror operation.
