REMOVAL

1. Open the tailgate.
2. Tailgate: Remove the retaining washer (1) at the top.

3. Снимите отверткой пружинную скобу.

3. Remove the spring clip with a screwdriver.
4. Pry the strut off the ball stud from below.

* The strut is under load.

INSTALLATION

1. Install the gas strut onto the ball stud, first fitting the retaining clip on the end.

2. Соедините упор вверху с цапфой сбоку поставьте стопорную шайбу.

2. Connect the strut at the top to the pin on the side, then install the retaining washer.
