Outside Mirror Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Remove the high-frequency speaker cover. Disconnect the interior window trim (clamping strip) at the front of the window without removing it completely. Remove the foam rubber insulation (triangular shape) from the speaker.
3. Disconnect the speaker (1) by sliding it upward.

4. Remove the upper screw (2).
5. Remove the front screw (3). To do this, push the rubber seal slightly to the side.

6. Remove the outside mirror. To do this, push the cable with connector and grommet through the hole in the door.

INSTALLATION

1. Feed the outside mirror drive electrical wires with the grommet through the hole in the door.
2. Position the outside mirror and secure it with two screws to a torque of 5 N·m.
3. Insert the speaker from above through the guide and secure it to a torque of 5 N·m.
4. Place the foam rubber insulation (triangular shape) back onto the speaker.
5. Install the interior window trim at the front of the window. Install the speaker cover.
6. Install the door trim panel.
