Removal

  • Raise the front of the vehicle.

Stabilisator aus-und einbauen

  • Unscrew the link rod - 1 - for stabiliser bar - 2 - from the wishbone - 3 -.

Warning: note the sequence and installed position of the washers and rubber mounts so they can be refitted in the same positions

  • Unscrew the link rod from the stabiliser bar.

Stabilisator aus-und einbauen

  • Unscrew the stabiliser bar - 1 - from the subframe - 3 -. Remove the retaining bracket - 2 - for the rubber mount and remove the stabiliser bar. 4 - Link rod.

  • Check the rubber mounts for porosity, cracks or other damage, and replace if necessary.

Installation
Stabilisator aus-und einbauen

  • Bolt the stabiliser bar - 1 - to the subframe - 2 - with 40 N·m.

Warning: fit the washers for the link rod so that the raised side (smaller diameter) faces the rubber bump stop. Otherwise the rubber bump stop will wear more quickly.
Stabilisator aus-und einbauen

  • Bolt the link rod to the stabiliser bar with 70 N·m - 1 -.

  • Tighten the connecting rod to the wishbone with 30 N·m. - 2 - Lower the vehicle.
