  4. Profile shaft

  5. Protective boot

  6. Tripod joint

Note: on the 1.6 L engine, the tripod joint is inserted directly into the differential.
  1. Circlip

  2. Housing for inner joint, 1.4 L engine only.

Right drive shaft 1.4/1.6/1.9 L engine
Rechte gelenkwelle 1,4-/1,6-/1,9-l-motor

  1. Right outer constant velocity joint

  2. Circlip

  3. Right drive shaft

  4. Damper weight

  5. Sealing bearing

  6. Distance from damper weight to drive shaft end:

1.4 L engine: a = 201 mm

1.6 L engine: a = 290 to 295 mm or 292 to 297 mm

1.9 L engine: a = 305 to 310 mm or 307 to 312 mm

Right drive shaft 1.8/2.0 L engine

Unlike the 1.4/1.6 L engines, the inner joint is designed as a ball-type constant velocity joint. The 2.0 L engine has no damper weight.
