14 Windshield washer fluid is added to the reservoir located in the left front corner of the engine compartment. In temperate climates, plain water may be used as washer fluid, but do not fill the reservoir more than 2/3 full to allow for expansion of the water when it freezes. When operating the vehicle in severe climates, use only a washer fluid additive that lowers the freezing point of the fluid accordingly. To prevent the windshield from icing up when washing in cold weather, warm the glass first by directing air through the heater onto it.

Never add engine coolant (antifreeze) to the washer fluid, as it will damage the paint finish of the body panels!
