1. After warming up the engine, while continuing to depress the brake pedal, move the shift lever to one of the driving range positions.

• Do not shift between D4 or D (forward) and R (reverse) or P (park) while the vehicle is moving.

This will damage the transaxle and may cause injury.

2. Release the parking brake and the brake pedal.

3. To start moving, slowly depress the accelerator pedal.
