Mirror Adjustment - Outside Rearview Mirrors

~1min read

НАРУЖНЫЕ ЗЕРКАЛА ЗАДНЕГО ВИДА
OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRRORS

Adjust the outside rearview mirrors so that both sides of the vehicle and both sides of the road behind the vehicle are visible.

Use the adjustment levers on the trim of each door to adjust the outside rearview mirrors up and down and left and right.

The outside mirrors on both sides of the vehicle have convex surfaces and are labeled with the following text:

OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR

Use the outside mirrors on both sides of the vehicle to widen the rear view.

Use the inside mirror to determine the size and distance of objects reflected in the outside rearview mirror.

When only convex mirrors are used, objects behind the vehicle may be misjudged in size and distance.

• Always keep the mirrors properly adjusted and use them while driving to view surrounding objects and vehicles.

Misjudging the distance between your vehicle and other objects may lead to a traffic accident, damage to your vehicle or other property, and injury.

Improper care may damage the mirrors.

• Do not try to scrape ice off the mirror surface.
• If ice or other material prevents the mirror from moving, do not force the adjustment.
• To remove ice, treat the surface with a de-icing agent or a stream of warm air.

Damaged mirrors reduce visibility and increase the risk of a collision.

Прижимая наружные зеркала заднего вида назад, их можно сложить к боковинам кузова.

The outside rearview mirrors can be folded against the body sides by pushing them rearward.

• Do not operate the vehicle with the outside rearview mirrors folded.

This may reduce visibility and lead to a collision.
