When towing a trailer, reduce the vehicle maintenance intervals by half.

For additional information, refer to the maintenance schedule in the maintenance service manual. When towing a trailer, pay particular attention to the automatic transmission fluid (do not exceed the specified level when adding fluid), engine oil, belts, cooling system, brake fluid and brake adjustment. All of this is described in this manual and can be easily found in the index. Before towing a trailer, it is recommended to inspect the above items.

Regularly check the tightness of the nuts and bolts of the trailer hitch.
