Driving the Vehicle - Manual Transmission

To shift gears, fully depress the clutch pedal, move the shift lever to the desired gear position, and slowly release the clutch.

To shift into reverse, first stop the vehicle, then pull up the reverse gear lock ring and, at the same time, move the shift lever to the reverse gear position.

• Shift between forward and reverse gears only after the vehicle has come to a complete stop.

Shifting between forward and reverse gears while the vehicle is moving may damage the transmission.

• Do not rest your foot on the clutch pedal while driving unless necessary.

This may cause accelerated wear of clutch components.
