Refueling the Fuel Tank from Drums and Cans
In this manual: Driving the Vehicle
~1min read
For safety, cans, pumps and hoses must be properly grounded. Static discharge may ignite gasoline vapor.
This may cause burns and vehicle damage.
Be sure to observe the following precautions:
• When refueling the fuel tank, use grounded pumps and hoses with built-in grounding.
• Do not refuel a can while it is in the vehicle. The can must be placed outside the vehicle.
• Before starting to refuel, make sure the nozzle touches the inner surface of the fuel tank filler opening.
Do not remove the nozzle until refueling of the tank is complete.
• Keep gasoline away from open flames, sparks and smoldering materials.
