Brake Pad Wear Indicator
In this manual: Driving the Vehicle
~1min read
The disc brake pads are equipped with built-in wear indicators that emit a loud squealing or screeching sound when the worn pads need to be replaced.
If such sounds occur while driving, immediately contact an authorized Chevrolet dealer to have the brake pads inspected and replaced.
• If noise is heard from the brake system, do not drive the vehicle.
This may indicate that the brake pads need to be repaired or replaced. Driving with worn brake pads may result in a collision and injury.
