STEERING WHEEL ADJUSTMENT
While the vehicle is moving, the driver must maintain full control of the steering wheel.
• Do not adjust the steering wheel position while the vehicle is moving.
Adjusting the steering wheel position while the vehicle is moving may result in loss of vehicle control.
Adjust the steering wheel only when the vehicle is stopped and the steering wheel lock is released.
The steering wheel is adjusted using the lever under the steering column.
To adjust the steering wheel position, do the following:
1. Pull the lever under the steering column toward the instrument panel, and adjust the steering column position.
2. To lock the steering wheel in the desired position, pull the lever.
3. Make sure the steering wheel is securely locked.
• Do not operate the vehicle with the steering wheel in the fully raised position.
Use this position only to make it easier to get in and out of the vehicle.
