Driving Recommendations - Driving Through Deep Water

~1min read

Before driving through water, make sure that the puddle or standing water is not too deep. Driving through a puddle too quickly may cause water to enter the engine through the air intake and cause serious damage.

Before driving through water, strictly observe the following precautions:

• Do not drive through water deeper than the underbody of the vehicle.
• Drive as slowly as possible, shifting to a lower gear and maintaining higher engine speed.
