  • All tire pressure values refer to cold tires. The pressure increase of approx. 0.2 to 0.4 bar that develops during longer journeys must not be reduced.

    Winter tires are usually run at a pressure 0.2 to 0.3 bar higher. Observe the inflation pressure recommendations of the respective tire manufacturer for winter tires. Since winter tires are subject to a speed restriction, a notice of the maximum permissible speed must be placed in the driver's field of view (§ 36, paragraph 1 StVZO).

  • When towing a trailer, increase the tire pressure to the value specified under 'full load'.

  • Wheel bolts for alloy wheels must not be used for steel wheels, and vice versa.

Note: technical development is continuous.

Other tire inflation pressures or other tire and rim combinations may since have been approved, even for older vehicle models. We therefore recommend asking your authorized workshop for the current data.

When driving sportily, it is advisable to increase the tire pressure at the front and rear wheels by 0.2 bar.

This increase must be based on the basic pressure specified for the various load conditions.
