Using the Heater in AUTO Mode

The heater uses heat from the hot engine coolant to warm the air supplied to the cabin. If the engine is not warm, there will be a delay before cabin heating begins.

1. Press the AUTO button built into the temperature control knob.

2. Turn the temperature control knob to set the desired level of heating for the air supplied to the cabin. The information display will show the AUTO icon and the set temperature.

The system automatically sets the optimal combination of heating and ventilation modes to maintain the set cabin temperature. In addition, the climate control system automatically controls the fan speed and optimally distributes the airflow.
