The ignition key must be in the ACCESSORY (I) or ON (II) position. To turn on the audio system, press the VOL knob or the AM/FM band selection button.

Adjust the volume by turning the VOL knob.

When the audio system is turned on, the display shows the selected radio band and the frequency to which the radio was tuned before the power was turned off.

To switch to another radio band, press the AM/FM band selection button. When the radio is tuned to an FM station broadcasting in stereo, the ST (Stereo) indicator appears on the display. Stereo reception is not available on the AM band.

The AM band has automatic noise suppression.
