Removing Frost or Ice from the Outside of the Windows

1. Select the mode
for airflow direction. The system automatically turns on outside air intake mode.

2. Select the mode
for airflow direction.

3. Turn on maximum heating and maximum fan speed.

To clear the windshield faster, you can close the side ventilation grilles.

To close the driver's side grille, press down on the lower parts of both levers. To close the passenger's side grille, turn the thumbwheel located under the ventilation grille. In this case, all heated air will flow only to the windshield defrost outlets. After the windshield is cleared, select outside fresh air mode to prevent the windows from fogging.

For safety reasons, do not start driving until all vehicle windows are clear of condensation, frost, or ice, so that you have a clear view from the vehicle.
