Adjusting the Ventilation and Heating System Settings
Temperature Control Knob
Turning the knob clockwise increases the temperature of the air supplied to the cabin.
Fan Speed Control
Select the fan speed by pressing the upper or lower side of the button (
or
). The fan speed is shown on the display as a bar indicator.
Fresh Air and Recirculation Switches
Two switches are used to select
the air source supplied to the air conditioner. In fresh air mode
outside air is supplied into the cabin. In recirculation mode
air circulates inside the cabin.

Adjusting the Ventilation and Heating System Settings
Outside air enters the climate control system through the air intake grille located in front of the windshield. Periodically clean the air intake grille openings of leaves and other debris that obstruct airflow.
In the vast majority of cases, the best performance of the systems that provide a comfortable microclimate is achieved in fresh air mode. Prolonged use of recirculation mode may cause the windows to fog up.
Therefore, it is recommended to use recirculation mode only when necessary, for example, when driving in areas with smoky or polluted air. Once it is no longer necessary to isolate the cabin from outside air, turn off recirculation mode.
Mode Button
The MODE button is used to select the airflow distribution mode in the cabin. A certain amount of air will enter the cabin through the side ventilation grilles regardless of the selected mode.
Each time the MODE button is pressed, the selected mode changes in turn.

Airflow enters the cabin from the slot-type windshield defroster outlets, as well as from the lower and side ventilation outlets.

Airflow enters from the lower ventilation outlets and side ventilation grilles.

Airflow enters the cabin from the center and side ventilation grilles on the instrument panel, as well as from the lower ventilation outlets.

The main airflow enters the cabin from the center and side ventilation grilles on the instrument panel.
Windshield Defrost button
Press the button
directs the main airflow to the windshield to quickly clear frost and moisture. The previously active airflow mode is canceled.
When the mode is selected,
the system automatically switches to outside fresh air mode. For faster window clearing, turn on high fan speed. It is also recommended to close the side ventilation grilles on the instrument panel for the time being.
If you turn off the mode
by pressing the button again, the system returns to normal operation.
For safety reasons, do not start driving until all vehicle windows are clear of condensation, frost, or ice, so that you have a clear view from the vehicle.
Rear Window Defogger switch
This switch is used to turn the rear window defogger on and off (see page 145).
This button turns the rear window defogger and the heated outside rearview mirrors on and off at the same time.
