Audio System Remote Control Switches

~2min read

The steering wheel has a three-button audio system remote control. These buttons allow you to control the main audio system functions without taking your hands off the steering wheel.

The VOL button is used to increase (или уменьшения () уровня громкости.) or decrease (Удерживайте нужную сторону клавиши, пока не установится требуемый уровень громкости,) the volume level.

Press and hold the desired side of the button until the required volume level is reached, then release it.

The MODE button is used to change the audio system mode. Each successive press changes the mode in the following order: radio frequency band change (FM1, FM2, AM or MW, LW), then CD playback (if a disc is loaded in the player), and then cassette playback (if the vehicle is equipped with a cassette player). You can select the FM1 and FM2 frequency bands if the AUTO SELECT function is not used.

Radio stations are changed using the CH button. Briefly press the (+) side of the button to move to the next preset station in the selected band. Press the (—) side of the CH button to move to the previous station.

To activate the station seek function across the entire band, press and hold the (+) or (—) side of the CH button. The radio searches the current band for a station with a strong signal and tunes to it.

During CD playback, the system advances to the next track (or next MP3 or WMA file) each time the (+) side of the CH button is pressed.

The first press of the ( ) side of the CH button returns the system to the beginning of the current track (current file). The next press of the (—) side returns the system to the beginning of the previous track (previous file). The disc track number or MP3 (WMA) file number and the elapsed playing time are shown on the display. If the vehicle is equipped with a navigation system, the information is shown on the side display.

When using MP3 or WMA discs, you can use the folder search function.

To go to the first file of the next folder, press and hold the (+) side of the CH button until a beep sounds. Press the ( ) side of the CH button to go to the previous folder.

When playing an audio cassette using the optional cassette deck, press the upper part of the (+) CH button to advance to the next selection. Press the (—) side of the CH button to return to the previous selection. The system detects a pause and resumes playback.
