Power Sunroof

GENERAL INFORMATION

To open the sunroof, press the switch on the 'Slide' side. Pressing the opposite side of the switch closes the sunroof.
To tilt the rear of the sunroof up, press the switch on the 'Up' side. To lower it, press the opposite side of the switch.

The ignition switch must be in the ON position.
The sunroof will move while the switch is pressed and will stop when the switch is released. However, when closing, the sunroof automatically stops at about three-quarters closed for safety. Therefore, to fully close it, release the switch and press it again. When opening, the sunroof can be stopped at any intermediate position.

Safety Precautions

To avoid injury to passengers, observe the following precautions.
Before opening the sunroof while the vehicle is moving, make sure no passengers are leaning out of the sunroof. Otherwise, serious injury may result in case of sudden braking or an accident.
Before closing the sunroof, make sure no one is in the sunroof opening. If a head, neck or hands get caught in the opening, serious injury may result. When passengers are operating the sunroof, make sure they are safe.
Do not leave children unattended in the vehicle, especially when the key is in the ignition switch. Children may play with the switch, causing the sunroof to operate unexpectedly and a child's head to be caught in the opening while it is moving. Failure to supervise children may result in serious injury.
Do not sit on the roof of the vehicle next to the sunroof opening.
