Rear Wheel Hub Assembly Installation

PROCEDURE

1. Connect the suspension arms to the hub assembly (see Rear Suspension Arms Removal and Installation section). Tighten the mounting nuts to the specified torque.
2. Connect the lower end of the shock absorber to the assembly. Tighten the mounting bolt nut to the specified torque.
3. Connect the stabilizer bar link to its bracket on the hub assembly. Tighten the mounting nut to the specified torque.
4. Install the hub assembly with wheel bearing in its original position (see Rear Wheel Hub and Bearing Assembly Removal and Installation section).
5. Install the brake components (see Brakes section). On models with rear disc brakes, be sure to bleed the brake system.
6. Install the wheel, lower the vehicle to the ground, and tighten the wheel nuts to the specified torque (see Specifications in the Maintenance and Tune-Up section).
