PROCEDURE

Driver Airbag
1. For the removal and installation procedure of the driver airbag module, refer to the Suspension and Steering Chapter.

Passenger Airbag
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable first, then the positive cable.

If the vehicle's audio system is equipped with an anti-theft code, make sure you have the correct code to reactivate the audio system before disconnecting the battery!
3. Disable the SRS.

4. For the removal procedure of the driver airbag module, refer to the Suspension and Steering Chapter.

5. To remove the passenger airbag, unscrew the two mounting screws (see accompanying illustration).
6. Installation is the reverse of removal. Do not forget to reactivate the SRS.
