Beschreibung
The Camshaft Position Sensor (CMPS) is a Hall-effect sensor that detects the position of the camshaft using a Hall element. The CMPS is installed in the cylinder head cover and uses a timing rotor mounted on the camshaft to determine the position of each piston, which cannot be detected by the CKPS. The sensor has an integrated Hall-effect circuit whose output voltage changes when a magnetic field is generated in the integrated circuit by the current flow. Sequential fuel injection into each cylinder is controlled by the CMPS signal.
