Beschreibung

The boost pressure sensor (BPS) is mounted on the intercooler unit and measures the pressure of the compressed air in the turbocharger.

Repair Procedures

INSPECTION

  1. Connect the KDS and the data link connector (DLC).

  2. BPS-Ausgangsspannung im Leerlauf und bei eingeschalteter Zündung messen.

Removal

  1. Zündung ausschalten und Batterieminuspol (-) abklemmen.

  2. Remove the air duct (A).

  3. Stecker (A) vom Ladedrucksensor abziehen.

  4. Den Sensor (B) Durch Lösen der Befestigungsschraube entfernen.

    Befestigungsschrauben Ladedrucksensor: 6,9 - 10.8 N·m

Installation

  1. Der Einbau erfolgt in der umgekehrten Reihenfolge des Ausbaus.
