GENERAL INFORMATION

1. COUPLING CLAMP BOLT

3. BODY FRONT PANEL HOLE SEALING BOOT

Remove or disconnect:

PROCEDURE.

1. Steering gear assembly. See figure. Rack and pinion steering gear with hydraulic power assist..

2. Unscrew the pinch bolt

3. Remove coupling 2 from the valve spool shaft..

Installation

PROCEDURE.

1. Install coupling 2 onto the valve spool shaft..

2. Install the pinch bolt

1. Tighten the coupling pinch bolt to 40 N·m..

3. Install the steering gear assembly on the vehicle.
