1. Steering gear assembly. See figure. Rack and pinion steering gear with hydraulic power assist..

2. Install the coupling assembly..

3. Dust cover 3 from steering gear housing 55..

Install or connect

PROCEDURE.

1. Position dust cover 3 with the cutout facing steering gear housing 55..

2. Install dust cover 3 onto the housing..

3. Install coupling 2 assembly onto the valve spool shaft. Tighten the bolt.

pinch bolt of the coupling to 40 N·m..

4. Install the steering gear assembly on the vehicle.
