Steering Column Control Levers

GENERAL INFORMATION

Remove or disconnect:

PROCEDURE.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Lower instrument panel trim..

3. Remove the screws from the upper steering column cover, located on both

sides of the steering column. To access the screws, turn the steering wheel 90 degrees to the left or right..

4. Remove 3 screws from the lower steering column cover. Remove the knob from the steering column lock lever and unscrew the tilt adjustment lever (if equipped)..

5. Press the retaining tabs on both sides of the switch and remove the lever together with the switch from the steering column.

Installation

PROCEDURE.

1. Connect the electrical connector to the switch and install it on the steering column..

2. Install the upper and lower covers on the steering column..

3. Steering column lock lever and tilt adjustment lever (if equipped).

5. Negative battery cable.
