23. TIE ROD (LEFT)

PROCEDURE.

1. Loosen the bolts

2. Remove ball stud nut 21..

3. Using puller KM-507B, disconnect tie rod end 19 with ball stud from the

steering knuckle arm of the front suspension strut..

Installation

PROCEDURE.

1. Connect tie rod end 19 to the steering knuckle arm..

2. Install nut 21 onto the ball stud. Tighten the tie rod ball stud nut.

to 60 N·m..

3. Adjust front wheel toe by turning adjusting screw 18.

4. Install the pinch bolts

22. Tighten the tie rod pinch bolt to torque 22 N·m.
