PROCEDURE.

1. Loosen locknut 16 and turn plug 17 clockwise until it bottoms against the housing. Then back off the plug 30–40 degrees..

2. Adjust with the front wheels raised and the steering wheel in the neutral

position. After adjustment, check the self-centering of the steered wheels (return to neutral position)..

3. Tighten the locknut

16. Holding the plug stationary, tighten locknut 16 to 70 N·m.
