Remove or disconnect:

PROCEDURE.

1. Steering gear assembly. See figure. Rack and pinion steering gear with hydraulic power assist..

2. Remove lines 55 and 57 from steering gear housing 55..

3. O-rings 13 of the line fittings..

Installation

PROCEDURE.

1. Lubricate O-rings 13 with power steering fluid..

2. Install O-rings 13 onto the line fittings..

3. Install lines 56 and 57 to steering gear housing 55. Tighten the line fitting nuts (valve attachment) to 18 N·m. Tighten the nuts.
